January Updates

Hello all, we've been very busy after the holidays but we're very glad you all stuck around and you must be wondering about the collage above. We here at Renaissance Modeling Agency are happy to announce that we have 2 new classes this year for our models. 

Let's introduce our new instructors and what classes they've started here at Renaissance.

Please welcome Mr. Ziggy ( Zigrich Zsigmond ) 

who is also the new Mr. Metaverse Puerto Rico 2014. 

Ziggy teaches Haute Couture here at Renaissance. He's a great and hard working teacher as he prepares our ladies to bring their A game on the runway and in their styling.  Ziggy is an amazing male model of Secondlife and we're more then honored to have him and his beautiful wife a part of our Renaissance family.

Mr. Ziggy's class is on Friday Nights.
Can't wait to attend his class next Friday :)

And for our 2nd class which is on Wednesdays

Please welcome Ms. Rose Divine Pegasi ( BlackRose808 )

who is known as MzAloha from MzAloha Fashion 

and one of our very own elite models.

Rose has decided to bring us all in to the wonderful world of blogging. She started her first class on Wednesday, January 29th. It was a slow starting but we were still in awe of her classroom, doesn't it make you feel like you're in college? We sure felt like it. Ms.Rose has so much patience as there were some little bumps in the road to all of us setting up our very own first blogs. But she helped us and even provided us with a 'help' notecard to get further help on basic set up.

Well said too Mrs. Ana, as we've had fun choosing our names for our blogs, learning the layout of blogspot and getting our first assignment of homework.  Homework will be just as fun since Ms.Rose has assigned us to do an introduction on our blogs and we've got extra credit if we do a fashion post. She used her blog as an example of layout wise of the post and has reminded us our blogs will change in time to fit our styles.

Thank you Ms.Rose we can't wait to see you next week Wednesday!

Happy New Year!

Hello and Happy New Year to our wonderful readers, supporters, models and designers. We'd like to thank all of you for being there for us this wonderful year. In 2013 we've had some ups and downs like any agency, but it has been one to remember. We've had amazing shows this year with amazingly talented designers. We've had a great group of ladies who have worked hard to put together their Fall graduation show to jumping feet first into some of the biggest competitions in Secondlife Fashion world.

We've got a lot planned for 2014 and we hope you'll continue to support us in the new year.
And if you'd like to work with us in this coming year, please message either Ana Tyles ( anastasianin Resident ) or Jewel Deniel ( JewelOfDeniel Resident).

Wednesday's Challenge: Native American [Indian]

Native American [ Indian] Challenge

Hello wonderful readers!

Tonight was our Native American { Indian } Challenge here at Renaissance Modeling Agency. Don't the ladies look like a beautiful and fierce tribe? Well although there was many amazing costumes, we made sure to check their prims, walks and poses to find our Indian beauty of the night.

3rd Stylecard

Native American clothing is a vital part of American culture and history. Weaving, beading, and detailed work such as feathering played an integral part in Native American clothing. Native American clothing was a main factor in cultural and religious ceremonies. 

As was custom with the Native Americans, they were very resourceful with all of the materials that were available to them, and they used the skins of deer to make clothes as well as fibrous materials. There were many different beadwork patterns that were symbolic to each tribe.

The Face of Romance Couture....

Congratulations Ladies!

Some of you don't know or have heard about it, but Romance Couture was looking for a new fresh face model to represent their company and we had 4 ladies submit their applications hoping to get their chance to show the team at Romance Couture what they could do. 3 of our 4 ladies of Renaissance Modeling Agency had passed on to the semi finals, where they were required to use the prims and different colors that were provided as well as a wonderful treat from Madrid make up.  

Although none of our 3 beautiful ladies moved on to the finals, it's all right. We at Renaissance Modeling Agency are very proud of our ladies for doing their best, staying true to themselves and taking the leap of faith. Please take a look at their entries for semi finals of The Face of Romance Couture Contest. And once again, Congratulations to Miss. Jewel, Miss Eva and Miss Rose.
